Pizza base from dumpling mix?

A friend from work told me she uses the Te$co 55p dumpling mix to make pizza bases with and she said they turn out very nice. While I plan to try the "from scratch" recipes for pizza bases that I got from OS, I bought this dumpling mix for a quick pizza tomorrow. Trouble is I can't quite figure out how to turn it into a pizza base. I can't ask my friend until Monday and was going to make the pizza tomorrow.
Does anyone else make pizza this way? Any ideas? Thanks in anticipation!

No idea ....but I did come across a recipe the other week for a quick Pizza base from a recipe book I have
125g SR Flour
1/4 tsp salt
1tbs Veg oil
a little cold water
Mix flour & salt together, add the oil and enough water to make a pliable dough
roll out and bake for 8-10mins.
So easy! and it makes one of the nicest pizza bases I have ever made.0 -
Thanks Jacksmummy-1979 just wondering when you put the toppings on? Do you bake then top and put in the oven again or do you roll it out then top it when raw and then bake it? I'm thinking the latter but not totally sure.0

I baked then topped, I suppose you could do it either way though.0

Jamie Olivers 30 minute meals has a silmilar recipe for the base and he pan fries it and finishes it in the oven.It really does tast similar to proper dough and is great for a quick dinner! I always top then bake xx0
