DD has just said that for DT tomorrow she has to change a recipe from one country with tweaks into one for another country.

She thought change fajitas into bolognaise in ciabatta. Ciabatta won't wrap and I would rather we didn't have to buy so many ingredients.

Should be able to think of plenty but mind gone blank, any help?edit- the final recipe has to be italian

ETA: Add dark chocolate to the chilli.
    I'm not that way reclined

Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!

Fahitas won't go into bolognese as they have cumin in - you can easily change plain pasta tomato sauce into chilli though with some cumin and a tin of beans.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

What about changing bolognese sauce into chilli by adding some chillies and beans and serving with rice instead of pasta?

Can you possibly type out the actual instructions? Save us thinking up things that aren't going to meet the requirements...

Just read your post that it has to be Italian after I posted, then what about using chilli beef as a pizza topping?

Cook something in tomatoes and garlic and it suddenly becomes Italian. Chuck some olives and thyme in and it's Greek. Sour cream and it's Jewish. And so on. I suspect if you keep to the same basic recipe and change the carbs that go with it, it would be more convincing. All depends on what you start out with.

Bolognese on ciabatta? Blech! I doubt even the most desperately poor Italian would eat that. Americans on the other hand........

Well I actually said bolognaise into chilli to her which is when she came back with the Italian aspect! Thank you I think the chilli on a pizza would do well.
