Switching to Atlantic
I am currently with Scottish Power. I have tried moneysupermarket.com which comes up with Atlantic as the cheapest one to switch to based on being a high user spending £574.83 on Electric and £954.59 on Gas a year. The thing is my actual usage is the other way around ~ since 6.3.07 we have spent £703.18 Electric £458.54…

Atlantic Electric And Gas - Loyalty Refund!
Checked my bank account this morning and there were 2 refunds, one for 52.08 and another for 37.16 from Atlantic. I toyed with the idea of calling them but thought I'd sit on the cash for a few days to see if they took it back. Postie arrived with two letters, the refunds are "thank yous" from Atlantic for staying with…

Prepayment RIP OFF!

When Lodgers Go...
How much can I expect to save in electricity and gas? There are two of them and when they go, so will the 3 foot heated tropical fish tank one of them has, and I will switch off the small chest freezer as I won't need it any more. Plus there is the obvious part that they won't be there, but not sure if that changes much as…

Price protection ? Then why have they increased ?!
Morning all, I'm with BG for both and took out their price protection 2009 a few years ago and at the time was glad I did, however........ Mrs Daddyswede said yesterday, after getting another bill, "I think they've put their prices up". I laughed and mocked her, then went and double checked against a bill from 2006 and the…

British Gas's £700 off a new boiler offer
I've been considering a new combi boiler for a while now, and yesterday saw the British Gas new boiler discount advert . I've just gone ahead and booked them for an appointment next week, but thinking now, I wonder just how competitive they are likely to be. Anyone else had BG in for a quote?

I applied to switch on Electricity Online Extra Saver 5 a few days ago as it seemed to be the best deal for me. British Gas Click Energy questions
I'm switching from Edf to B Gas for electricity  . Can I ask a couple of questions to people in the know. All three comparison sites came up with Click Energy 5 being the cheapest. My welcome letter from BG just says 'click energy', nothing about 5. Should it specify at this stage Click 5, or does that come later ?…

Ebico, does anyone know their new prices?
As title, I'm wanting to switch to them but am still waiting to hear of their new prices. Every e-mail I have sent them has been answered very quickly, unlike BG who haven't answered one, but each time that I have asked Ebico about their prices they come back with "we are not reviewing our prices at this time".
