We've had no increase so far, or notification of one, but some people on the board have been saying that it's due in April

Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) have announced that they will not review prices until at least 1 April 2008. Not long now!

Yes, it's............Atlantic! Well until early next month. That's why lots of people are waiting to see what Atlantic's new prices will be before they consider switching. I'm currently with npower but I am thinking of switching to Atlantic. I don't want to go to British Gas because their customer service is appalling & I've heard bad reports about Eon.

Atlantic & the other associated companies have put their prices up. I was going to swap to Atlantic but Npower are now the cheapest for me & I'm already with them.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I have just had my gas bill in from Atlantic and nearly fell over! I own an extra £100, the heating goes off now! They have put their prices up and I have not had anything through from them to say. Can they do that?

I received a phone call in March from a guy who said he was phoning to check we are on the cheapest for our utilities and he was from a main governing body-i.e. not selling anything at all. Then when I said roughly how much we were paying he said atlantic were cheapest for our gas... Then he aked me to confirm my address number and name of householder for my application. I stressed at this point that I am happy with my supplier and wasn't making an application-he then ranted on how he wasn't selling anything and he wasn't giving me information - I was a bit confused as to what he was doing if he wasn't informing me and wasn't trying to get me to switch. Then when I still wouldn't give him the info for 'my application' he called me an idiot and hung up!!!! obviously there was no contact telephone number. I was furious. tbh unless it was an isolated incident (which I doubt) I wouldn't want to have a supplier like that!!!
    sorry for the rant.
