British Gas Click Energy questions
I'm switching from Edf to B Gas for electricity  . Can I ask a couple of questions to people in the know.
All three comparison sites came up with Click Energy 5 being the cheapest. My welcome letter from BG just says 'click energy', nothing about 5. Should it specify at this stage Click 5, or does that come later ?
The letter says 'managing bills online' and 'cutting out paper bills'. I didn't realise this when I signed up BUT I can live with it. My preference, given the choice would be normal hardcopy quarterly bills - so is this a feature of click energy that is set in stone ? If it is, then fine. Just wondering if I have the choice.
Letter says 'you've chosen to pay quarterly by cash or cheque ( please refer to quarterly cash/cheque prices overleaf)'. This is correct. But the overleaf they refer to says :
Payment Method - Quarterly cash/cheque
Tier 1 Rate Pence per KWh First 125 KWh per quarter - n/a
Tier 2 Rate Pence per KWh Remaining KWh per quarter - n/a
Payment Method - Monthly direct debit
Tier 1 Rate Pence per KWh First 125 KWh per quarter - 13.593
Tier 2 Rate Pence per KWh Remaining KWh per quarter - 9.228
So I'm confused at the above. No prices for my chosen payment
method ? And are these the correct prices for Click 5 ? Plus they have said I can pay quarterly by cheque so that must be ok ? Just a bit confused about the above. Many Thanks.
