These sockets are great for extending my wifi but there is still one room that struggles with the signal. Question for here - can I simply buy a single N300 Range Extender Socket and add it to my existing 2? Thanks Stuart

Can I privately improve my connection?
We are currently looking at a house to buy, but the big downside is that it only gets 2-4mbps broadband. We are used to 50+mbps. I checked the coverage at the address on Openreach, which claimed to be "superfast accepting orders", however after contacting Plusnet (who inexplicably told me that the address is FTTP enabled)…

Slow bt broadband
I can only get 3mb with bt broadband. I did the test using my neighbour virgin bb with his permission and reach 17mb. When my contract ends with bt I should be looking to go with virgin. Am I correct to assume I will get fast bb with cable. The other reason is bt will increase the price to double when the contract ends.…

Switching from Broadband to Fibre Optic
Hello, I am looking to switch from broadband to fibre optic, but the only provider available is BT. I am currently with Sky Broadband. If I go ahead with BT and leave after 12 months, will other providers who previously could not offer the service be able to offer fibre optic after BT install it? My fear is that I will be…

Virgin Media-moving home=automatic 12 month sign up
Hi all, I signed up for Virgin Media in August last year when I moved into my first house with my partner, we have unfortunately since broken up, on a sour note. Does BT get fiber early?
Hi all, I've just finished my contract with BT and I really want to switch providers as their speed and level of service is a complete joke. The cabinet we are connected is not currently connected to fiber but (apparently) it will be in the next couple of months. I'm looking at signing up with Vodafone but I don't want to…

Swapping internet providers - can I forward my e-mails?
I am thinking of moving providers and have been told that it is possible to import e-mails and contacts to new accounts. Is this correct? Can this be done to import BT Yahoo e-mails to sky e-mails? (BT are so bad I am thinking of swapping to Sky and getting a TV package alongside broadband and phone).

Moving house with Sky
My husband and I are buying our first and are completing on 31 July. I have just gotten off the phone to Sky and it will apparently take THREE WEEKS from this date until they can get our new internet service up and running. The reason for this apparently is that there is an "active line" at the property (obviously; the…

Moving house to area not served by Virgin
Hello, We're moving to a Heacham in Norfolk where Virgin Media isn't available but we've still got a year left on our contract. How do we stand with regards to cancelling the contract? Would we have to pay the remaining balance or is there a get out clause if they don't serve the area? John

Stopping wi-fi overnight
I'm increasingly concerned about the wi-fi usage in our house. I want to be able to stop it overnight. Am currently with Sky. Taking out the leads will result in someone else just buying a new one. It seems that sky doesn't have an option to turn off. Have looked at the talk talk community and they seem to be saying that…

Hi there a friend of the family (teenage single parent living in own place) signed up to Talktalk broadband about 6 weeks ago via someone knocking at the door.
