Which Fibre BB Sky or BT?
Pondering taking fibre BB, have BT line rental, sky non fibre BB, need a nudge which way to go, advantage BT with a £100 sainsburys gift voucher, but even though on a long line with sky 2.7mb download speed, its been quite good and reliable. Any comments if your happy or unhappy with your BT or SKY fibre.

Forwarding e-mails if I change provider
Seriously thinking of moving my phone and broadband as BT is so awful. However I have a bunch of e-mails (several hundred) that I need to keep is there any way of transferring these to a new supplier e-mail. Also, is there any way of forwarding e-mails sent to my current BT account to a new account with a different…

TalkTalk Early Termination
I have just spent three hours over two days speaking with a customer service person, and two managers, and have got absolutely nowhere. I am moving house at the end of next month, and was hoping to leave, especially with all the goings on with TalkTalk. Due to a price increase (how they can do that in between a already…

Can I leave TalkTalk?
Ok so I was with Sky for two years with my phone and broadband and didn't have a single problem once, but in a bid to reduce my monthly outgoings I stupidly jumped ship to TalkTalk as it would save me almost £15 a month. I moved at the start of September and all was fine to begin with up until just over a week ago, first…

Plusnet retentions
Hi Has anyone asked Plusnet to price match BT before? BT has 12 month fibre for £12.50 with £100 Sainsburys voucher and Quidco are offering £150 cash back. I got Plusnet to match EE last year and only pay 59p for BB. Just wondering if they will factor in the cash back offers? Thanks

BT Bill
I have just checked my latest BT Bill and see they are charging me £14.40 per month for my broadband - I renewed my contract in May 2015 at the rate of £13.00p per month . When I phoned they said there is nothing they can do because of the price increase. Is this correct? Surely they should keep to the contract price for…

What happens if I am mid-contract and fibre optic becomes available in my area?
Hi all (again!) We are about to switch ISP and are looking into our options, most of which are 18 month contracts, but a couple are 12 months. We live in a very rural area with only a 2MB connection speed. But fibre optic is creeping into some of the larger surrounding villages. If luck should shine down on us soon and we…

Hi all I am thinking about moving my broadband, phone and line rental from BT to Plusnet. I am currently with BT and the contract runs out on 17th November. I am unsure on how to make the switch without paying any more money than I have to. This includes paying both contracts at the same time, but also potentially being…

Talk Talk Scam Call - Press Windows Button and R Options
Just had a call from a number 6690. Indian lady told me she was from Talk talk and they were getting reports of people trying to access my internet. Asked me to switch on my computer (which was on). Then to press the windows button and R at the same time. This will open the "Run" command prompt.. At this stage I told her I…

Sky Fibre Broadband Unlimited...
Does anybody have any thoughts on Sky Fibre Broadband Unlimited? I am moving from Talk Talk's Simply Broadband (up to 17mbps) package, which, when I do a speed test, gives me about 10mbps. This is, to be fair to them, adequate for netflix/iplayer, which I use the Internet for. However, I like the idea of fibre, the…

Leaving Talk Talk...
For obvious reasons, I've had enough of Talk Talk. However, we still have about nine months of the value line rental on our account. Is it possible to keep this line rental with Talk Talk and just get a broadband only deal with someone like EE? This is what Talk Talk's website says. I like the second statement, but not the…

I was told by VM that I am not in a contract at the moment, must…

Considering ISP change
Assuming things go to plan, we should be moving about a mile away before Christmas and I wondered if I should use this to change my ISP as I am told any new provider sorts the whole thing out, plus I am out of contract, but am aware that if I continue using my current ISP, it is the start of a new contract. Currently and…

Haggling with BT via internet chat?
I'm looking to cut the price of my broadband package, but I'm useless at speaking on the phone. Has anyone been able to haggle with BT via their live internet chat service? Also, I'm looking for some general advice about haggling. I notice they have some juicy £75 Sainsbury's vouchers for the package I'm currently on, is…

Switching broadband - Cease on the line?
We've recently moved house, and transferred talktalk to our new home. However, after realising how terrible talktalk are, we've decided to cancel (as we're still within our cooling off period) and switch to plusnet. We told talktalk we were cancelling on Saturday, and joined plusnet on Saturday, both over the phone.…

BT Contract Buyout Offer
I recently called BT up for BT Sports and they persuaded me to move across from Sky to BT. They dealt with Sky and as I have 3 months left on my contract offered to credit the amount of my cancellation onto my BT bill. They said the limit was £150 but I basically had to pay the charges with Sky, email it to BT and they…
