Plusnet retentions

Hi

Has anyone asked Plusnet to price match BT before? BT has 12 month fibre for £12.50 with £100 Sainsburys voucher and Quidco are offering £150 cash back.

I got Plusnet to match EE last year and only pay 59p for BB. Just wondering if they will factor in the cash back offers?

For those that might be interested, I just got off the phone to Plusnet. I explained that I wanted 38mb unlimited fibre and that 18 month contracts doesn't suit me as I like to pay for line saver. They said I could go for their 24 month package which is £10 pm with free activation and free router plus a £50 cheque. They said that I could have half price anytime calls for 6 months too.

I think that's comparable to what other providers are charging for fibre, so I've told them to go ahead with the order. Openreach have been provisionally booked in for the 8th Dec.

Am I crazy for tying myself in for so long?
