BT buying EE

I'm on an EE (previously Orange) standard home phone and broadband package and I see that BT are set to acquire EE, would it be a good idea switch to BT now in order to take advantage of any new customer deals like new router, fibre and cut price 12 month broadband.

    How long has your EE contract left to run .
    If not out of contract what will it cost to pay the contract off .
