Trainpal say there are no booking fees on their mobile app, so you would expect the price you pay would be the same as the total price of all the split tickets. Not so! I was charged £6.80 on top and when I queried this they said "It's a Service Fee not a booking fee" Deceitful or what?

I have a Railway disabled person card, but on trainline I cannot find how (if I can) book a ticket for my companion. He would get the same 1/3 off as myself. The Disabled Adult discount option is in the list of the the rail cards but I cannot find the Companion option. Thanks.

£2 national bus fare cap from 1st January 2027 for a year
At the moment the £3 national bus fare cap applies until 31st March 2027. It has been announced this will be replaced by a £2 national bus fare cap from 1st January 2027 for a year.
