Seen a few of these types of offers recently so thought it might be good to compile a bit of a list.
The best known is probably the National Rail 2 for 1 scheme which is well documented on MSE's Deals pages here.
But less well known are the deals available at London attractions (including the Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace) if you travel there using TfL services - see http://www.tfl.gov.uk/deals for details. (Note some of these offers exclude the school summer holiday period.)
This site - https://www.goodjourney.org.uk/ - also lists a number of discounts available when you arrive other than by car, ranging from 35 per cent off at Wordsworth Grasmere to a free hot drink at All Things Wild in the Cotswolds..
Blenheim Palace has a section of its website encouraging green travel, and the bus / train passenger discount they offer is even extended to electric car drivers.
The Beamish museum offers a 25 per cent discount if you arrive on a Go North East bus.
If an attraction near you offers a similar deal for people arriving by bus or train, do post the details in this thread

PK Porthcurno in Cornwall gives 50% off for arriving by bus:

Parking is extra so this is a double saving. Additionally it's usually an open top bus (depending on your route) so a great trip there as well.
£5 off at Chatsworth if you come by bus (and again there is an open top option called peak sightseer):

20% off at Heights of Abraham cable car if you arriving by public transport.

Spotted another one on my travels yesterday - in Dorset, RSPB Arne (featured in Springwatch) offers a discount when you arrive by public transport, and there's a connecting minibus from the nearest station three days a week

Not in the UK, but if you happen to be in Los Angeles area....
Getty Villa (recreation of Herculaneum; part of the Getty Museum) used to give discounts if arriving by bus (it's a walk up the hill from the bus so you will earn that discount). It's a bit out of town, so needs a bit of careful bus planning to avoid too much waiting around in the open sun (or rain).
Worth checking if they still do (and also for the main museum).0 -

Also available across all 5 gardens is Visit for £1 - if you are in receipt of certain benefits though you can visit for just £1 pp for up to 6 people and only one person in the group needs to be on benefits. You have to pre-book and bring benefit proof with you.
