I'm pretty sure I only applied for this offer as I saw it was available to existing customers. I switched from a classic plus to a spend and save believing this was eligible but alas no bonus granted (all other criterea fulfilled). I have just been told by TSB this offer was for switching in from another bank - did I…

HyperJar Outage 7th April
We've been using HyperJar for my son for years now, and it's been great. He's used it in Ireland and for spending when on school trips and out with friends. Until today, when he tried to pay for lunch at KFC with his friends and his transaction was reversed 3 times, then declined, even though he had plenty of funds…

Nationwide Flexdirect current account
Hello, Im musing over opening this current account. Am I right in thinking that if l deposit £500 into it, then take it back out and redeposit that will cover me for the minimum amount per month for the year (£1000 monthly)? Also, just leave £1500 sitting in the account for the year to get the 5% saving? I currently also…

Missing Bank Accounts
Has anyone had a similar issue with Nationwide UK. I have two accounts of my own and two accounts from when my children were younger that have “disappeared” from my Nationwide app. I raised this over a week ago and they have still not been able to tell me where the accounts and money are (over £40k in total). They keep…

TSB SWITCH ACCOUNTS
It would appear that there are hoops to go through when you open an account with TSB. I used the link from MSE to switch accounts but apparently I done it incorrectly and have not received any bonus because you actually have to open an account then you have to apply for the "Switch" I'm not the only one to do this as TSB…

Santander Edge Savings 12 months bonus up
My 12 months on the bonus Santander rate of 6% is coming up. I opened the account on 16 April 2025 and received the first interest on 17 May 2025. From what I remember, you can only have 2 Santander Edge Savings accounts so I plan to close these two accounts and open two new Santander accounts with the 6%. Is this how I…

Santander /Cahoot cut off times for interest
Does anybody happen to know what time these 2 use to look at your balance and calculate daily interest? I'm trying to keep my Edge saver at £4000 to maximise interest and I've been assuming that as long as it is at this balance by 8.15 pm, which I believe is the faster payment cut off time it earns interest for that day…

Uknown payment
Hello, this afternoon I received a payment from Stichting Custodia along with Payout (followed by a reference number). I bank with Monzo, my pay day is every thursday so I know it wasn't work and i'm not expecting any money coming in apart from a refund from Viagogo but for a larger amount than the one received. I'm just…

Are any post offices in Northern Ireland open on Good Friday?
Does anyone know of a post office in Belfast or the rest of NI that will be open this Friday? The branch finder is useless, no sign that the hours in it take account of bank holidays. It's to deposit cash, not a huge amount so I think they would all accept it.

Tsb final reward
I got my last reward for the switch. It is £120 towards a hotel stay or some undisclosed attractions. No info on either. From what I read the hotel is the safer bet, even though they are likely to be overpriced. Has anyone tried it? (Their "help" line must be manned by cheap robots). Now I need a new switch ;)

Lloyds Verification OTP System Failure
I've been unable to login to the Lloyds website to do my online banking for over a week. Lloyds are no longer sending out a passcode to my mobile, so I cannot complete the last stage of the login. I am also unable to use my Lloyds credit card online because the transaction verification OTP is not being sent to my mobile.…

Switching current accounts - can I switch one and keep the other with the same bank?
I am with First Direct and have been happily. However, as a result of a divorce I now need to be more savvy financially, so I'm looking to optimise on the switching bank accounts. I have 2 sole accounts with First Direct, can I 'switch' one and keep the other and still get the rewards?

24 Moved to West Africa need bank account tips.
I recently finished my master’s course and began a new job in November. I am paid into my Wise account by a US company that operates in West Africa. When it comes to UK-based finance, I…
