Uknown payment

Hello, this afternoon I received a payment from Stichting Custodia along with Payout (followed by a reference number). I bank with Monzo, my pay day is every thursday so I know it wasn't work and i'm not expecting any money coming in apart from a refund from Viagogo but for a larger amount than the one received. I'm just wondering what to do as Monzo can't give me details due to data protection. Does anyone know where this payment has come from or have had something similar happen. When I googled it said it could be an uber payment?

It appears to be a shell company related to Uber. Assuming that you do not do any work for Uber and are not entitled to it do not spend it. If and when somebody realises that the payment has gone to the wrong bank you'll be asked for it back.

Seems it may also be Etsy (Ireland)

Wait a few days to see whether a letter turns up about it. In the old days a letter would arrive with a cheque but these days the money tends to arrive in your account first.

It’s your Viagogo payout, just had same. They paid out earlier than they said before the concert.

Hope that was not a Monzo staff member that told you that. If it was a complaint is in order. There is no issue with a bank giving customers any information on a transaction to their account. Although a credit has limited info to help staff.
