Why does this thread always appear in bold - i.e. 'unread', however many times I open and close it?
Edit: now that I've responded to it it's stopped doing that, and now behaves normally, i.e. not in bold.

I think new threads automatically bump (and boldify) after a certain time if no reply. Quite annoying. You can also mute threads that you find uninteresting. Not sure if that solves the bold issue, probably not, but by replying it should no longer automatically bump and boldify, though any new replies (like this one 😏) will bump and boldify it again!

Personally I like that MSE take an interest in topics that are discussed on the forums, and @MSE_Rob_Z, please don't interpret this as me stating that you should avoid posting on certain subjects, but I agree that it would better if they would add onto an existing thread rather than make a new thread on an existing subject.
