My partner's son - legal arrangements if she dies
My partner's son is 14. His dad died when he was little, and there are no other living relatives on his mum's side. On his dad's side the only relative they're in contact with is his dad's cousin, and this is limited to the exchange of Christmas and Birthday cards. My partner and I do not live together, and we are…

POA - Error
Hi I am POA for my mum, as is my brother. We have just realised that there is an error on the POA forms in that I am down as a Mrs when I am a Miss. Does this mean that the POA is not valid? Would we have to cancel it and pay for another new one? I will ring them on Monday but wanted to check here first. Thanks

Hi all H has recently announced he's leaving me. We're now in the process of trying to sort out our joint account. I don't currently have any…

What is the latest state of play on Care Home planning etc?
I made my will a good few years ago, and it puts the house (split 50:50) into a Trust on the first death etc etc. However a Saga communication I have just received says that Local Authorities may very well (why can't any of these commentaries state a position outright? It's always may or could be, never is) treat a…
