What are you using AI for and which ones perform best at which tasks?
I saw the sticky on AI but I think we are past which one do people use, I use all but not in the mad way we see people on YouTube (from "shall I have a snack" to "will you marry me" What is more interesting is what are you using them for and which ones do you find are better at what tasks than others?

Sorry folks - another Ring doorbell question!
So .. I eventually got our Ring wired doorbell up and running and it all seems to work as it should on my phone. (We don't need what you get with a subscription.) I did the "shared user" thing to my wife's phone, and even got that working in the sense that she can use live view, talk to the doorbell etc. But she doesn't…

Dumb questions about Ring Wired Video Doorbell - SORTED THANKS!

However … Is there a way of disabling that horrible three-note chime it makes OUTSIDE when the bell push is…

Seagate not honouring hard drive that's 'out of warranty'.
Not quite sure what's going on here. In 2024 I bought a Seagate hard drive from Amazon. Going in to my order history, under the listing title it says "visit the seagate store" so I'm presuming it was sold by Seagate via Amazon? C.D.I. has given me a warning about the drive so I thought I'd contact them regarding the…

Time for a new laptop
I'm in need of a new laptop, I don't need a really high spec one, as all I use it for is shopping, general browsing, banking and storing photos. My current one has MS office on it, but I really only use word and excel, so if there is an alternative to those? that would be great. I'm used to the keyboard layout and 15 inch…

BLUEMAIL
I've been having real issue with Bluemail for many months. Syncing issues mostly, particularly on the desktop version. Emails on this can arrive up to an hour after they've appeared on the mobile app. The archive often takes ages to load. I often have to delete and reload accounts to try to get it working. Is there…

Configuring MiFi router
I have a TP Link MR600 router. This is 4G cat 6. On Three. I am trying to optimise the bands it uses. I have set this manually to bands 1 and 3, and it works okay. I can see the available bands are 1, 3, 7, 8, 20, and 28. Is there any point selecting any of the other bands?

new hub for wifi and phone installation probs
basically we can't figure it out. the instructions (from EE) are a bit random and talk about installing an app (presumably on one's phone even if it's not with EE) and needing a password which is on the latest bill (which can't be accessed because it says online that we are new to the service despite being with them for a…
