Beat My Quote! Travel Agents Thread
What’s this about? This is a special thread where you can ask all the Travel Agents and MoneySavers who frequent this board to beat a holiday quote you have and get personalised replies. The idea is to see if someone can beat a quote for a specific holiday; not just a general price. So you need an exact quote. E.g. "I've…

TUI refusing to pay our travel costs from LGW to Manchester
We were due to fly back from Kenya with Etihad via Abu Dhabi on 6th March, this was a package holiday with TUI. Obviously those flights were cancelled. Tui managed to get us an alternative flight which got us to LGW on 11th March. All good. However, they told us to make our own way back to Manchester and reclaim the cost,…

Does Lebara mobile work in Canary Islands?
Anyone know if Lebara works in Fuerteventura? Seems some confusion over whether it’s classed as Spain or not! If so will be included in std roaming and can use like at home. Lebara agent not very helpful as to if it would work and connect to local network or not so just wondering if anyone has had any experience? Going in…

Middle East Situation - Travel Insurance
I’m hoping someone might be able to clarify the best course of action regarding a flight booking issue. British Airways has offered me a refund for my flight to Dubai in May but the flight itself has not actually been cancelled yet. Because of this trip, I have also booked airport parking and hotel accommodation…

Qatar Airways policy
The policy shown seems relevant to normal operations not the scenario we see today. 2 changes in 14 days from original booking are irrelevant. I’ve already had 3 flights cancelled and 14 days from our original booking will soon pass with no available flights (Sri Lanka to Heathrow) Could the Qatar policy be reviewed by the…

Lastminute.com dragging their feet over flight refunds
We booked to fly to the far east on 28 Feb, via Abu Dhabi. Shortly after we pushed back the flight returned to the gate and, long story short, we were eventually de-boarded and sent on our way home. I contacted Lastminute.com a couple of days later to enquire about a refund. Their initial response was that as Etihad had…

Having read the MSE article and the various comments on here I'm still confused about connecting flights through Dubai. Does anyone know where to find the API on the Ryanair app?
Does anyone know where to find the API on the Ryanair app? After booking and paying for my flights on Ryanair, they then decided to change the terms and that I can only fly if I use the Ryan mobile app. I have installed the mobile app and it has scant information about my flights. I have just read that I must complete the…

I am travelling business class so should be able to leave the pane…

Short Scenic Walking Holiday Advice please
Hi all. My Mum is turning 60 in October and I'm considering surprising her with a short break away (probably 4 nights). The thing is, I definitely have absolutely no idea what I'm doing when it comes to overseas travel as I haven't been abroad since I was about 12 (I'm now 37) and if course I didn't have to sort anything…

edeams prime account
Does anybody know how to cancel an edreams subcription? Last month I realised that edreams have been taking £9.99 of my credit card every month and I have not authorised any payments. I think the reason that I have not noticed the money going out is because I take a number of flights a year. Some destinations are covered…

Ryanair and printed boarding passes
Can anyone tell me unequivocally whether they no longer allow customers to print boarding passes? This seems draconian (if typical). I have seen it stated that they are only stopping the facility for customers to ask THEM (Ryanair staff) to print boarding passes at the airport.
