Hello
I'm new to the forum after a while of lurking...hoping to finally keep track of my spending!
My new month starts today so sorry if I'm a little early...I'm aiming for £90 for everything for myself and my boyfriend who stays 1-2 nights a weekJune 2016 Grocery Challenge- £49.61/£900 -
I originally signed up a couple of months ago then fell off the wagon about 2 weeks later due to being pregnant and wanting to eat everything in sight. The babies here now having arrived 5 weeks early and will be 5 weeks on Sunday so please count me in for £290 this month. My month runs 20th to 20th and we stocked up today spending £75.80.July grocery challenge £161.25/£2900

I did the challenge a few months ago and it really helped but I let it slip so I'm back on board for June! I'm on slimming world so use a lot of fresh produce which pushes the bills up. I shop online to control impulse buys but often visit the supermarket to see what yellow sticker deals I can get. I'm feeding myself plus 3 kids, including packed lunches everyday.
I'm going for £400 as a starting point for this month with and aim of getting it down next month.Trying to fix my finances whilst living with 3 kids and 2 cats! 👩🏻👧🏻👦🏻👶🏼🐱🐱
January Grocery Challenge (starting 31/12) £0/£3500 -
Done my first shop of the month today, spent £13.95 on fruit and veg from the market. A little more than I was expecting to spend, but I have loads of chickpeas, lentils, pasta, rice etc in the cupboards so this should be my dinners, teas and snacks for the next week sorted.
Also spent 40p on a bottle of bleach, and £2.49 on facewash. So this puts my total spend so far at £16.84 for the week
Just need to buy porridge oats and milk for breakfasts now, plus a bag of flour to bake some muffins with. Also need shampoo and conditioner but I just buy the cheap supermarkets own versions, so my total spend should come in under £20June 2016 Grocery Challenge- £49.61/£900 -
I'm still on board for June. The challenges are making me think hard, not just about what I'm spending but about what we're eating.
Staying at £250 please.0 -
Evening all!
Started the year off well but, having recently bought our first house, the OH and I have been preoccupied with painting, decorating and furnishing and have completely dismissed any idea of a food budget since around February.
We've very quickly seen our spending get out of control and are eager to get things back on track.
With this in mind, and sorry to be such a pain, but can I be moved out of the annual budget bit and into the monthly section, with a budget of £300 for June, please?
Our month runs from 25th May to 24th JuneJanuary Food Budget: £0/ £500

So with a lot of money to spend soon.. a wedding planned, credit card debt to pay off, multiple holidays away and trip to London... it seems we need to control our spending! Oh and theres also the cars MOT next month!
I'm going to make our month go from today (22.05.16) to the 3rd of July. 6 weeks.
Budget is going to be £120. Sorry can't make it go red!
Broken down to £20 a week but if theres any left it can be taken over to the next week. We have so much food in our cupboards and our tall freezer is full to the brim. I couldn't fit the box of chicken kievs in the other day! We have loads of meat (I mean at least 15kg of chicken breasts alone)
I'm wanting to try and eat as healthy as possible as well.
This is for 2 adults, a one year and two cats! I have at least 5 boxes of cat biscuits in the cupboard so its just their meat I need to buy. This should be fun0
