Hi people - I still have 2moz to go on May, but am hoping for a NSD - I think I might go back to £80, as I'm hoping to run down the freezer - I no longer want to eat meat. Gonna give the last few bits away, but will eat the fish, of which there is tons. Also, I threw a ton of veg last month - feel bad about that - gonna try n concentrate on being inventive with what I have in stores. Also, off to Glastonbury Festival for about 5 days (yayyy), where I get all my food included, so hopefully will work out. Just me n my grown 23yr old daughter this month. A belated good luck to everyone.0

Small spend of £2.16 on some little items that I saw reduced in the Co-op:
Melon Medley - £1 - opened it and it was rancid. Fermentation had definitely started
Maggi Italian Chicken - 26p
Cucumber - 15 p
Banana - 13 p
Ham slices - 60 p
So that brings my total to: £12.86/£120NST June 2016 No. 11June Grocery Challenge: £85.66/£120

Eek! I've already spent a lot on groceries but we've also eaten out 3 times this month. Luckily my budget runs until the 19th of June so I should be able to manage. I've taken cash out for the shopping this month and I think that I haven't paid attention to how much I've been spending because I've taken it all out with me. Next month I think I'll divide the monthly amount by the number of weeks in the month and just take that weekly amount out shopping.July grocery challenge £161.25/£2900

Hi Pamsdish, oddly enough, I don't know if I've even tried a cypriot version of parmesan!? I'll be on the look out next time!
Few more bits purchased today, £5.51 at Aldi, £6.24 at farmfoods and £1.99 at Waitrose, taking my total to £34.85. £4 of spend was on 18 toilet rolls which should last over a month since there are only 2 of us, but come to think of it, I've never monitored how long they last.

I'm back for another month. Please count me in for £300
I have itemised the freezer so we will be eating out of that for most of this month. Spent a 1/3 of the budget already, but that was a lot of toiletries and other things we can't eat. Going to try to rein in those pesky top up shops!:)GC Jan '17 £237.54/£350GC Dec £193.02/£400

Wow, don't go shopping with kids!
To be fair I don't think it was them but I managed to spend £78.40 in Aldi and £39.77 in the butchers, total £118.17/£250(+40.55 carried over).
Let's hope not every week is so expensive!0 -
Please count me in. I'm aiming for £150 this month as there's only me at home. Getting big MrT shop delivered Friday then will do top ups at Ald! For rest of month. Been good lately with some weeks coming in under £20 so reckon i can do it.Thoughts to all. Mrs D.
