June 2016 Grocery Challenge

I think my target might have been a little ambitious. I'm being cautious and considerate about what I buy, but the spends are sneaking up.
£6.24 spent, of which £2.51 was on golden syrup and bicarb of soda to make Twink's infamous homemade hobnobs. In theory, as my cupboards are stocked with the right ingredients, the challenge should get easier (for example I have enough blanched carrots for at least 2 weeks because I just kept peeling the other day :T)
I'm not getting disheartened though, this is only the beginingAugust 2016 GC £249.70/£150
July 2016 GC £114.03/ £120
June 2016 GC £170.09/ £1750 -
Hi
It's been a long time since I've been on the site regularly and even longer since I've posted here.
My situation has changed quite dramatically so I'm in a steep learning curve.
Could you please put me down for £150 for the month. This is for myself, DS18 and DD17 (when she's home from school)0 -
I think I'll stick to £240 this month please. Had a low month in May, but am restocking the freezer this month, so it will all balance out. Any underspend accrued during the year will bump up the Christmas food budget, so I'm sure it will work out fine in the end.3-6 month EF Challenge Member #19: £3590/£6000.[/B] Craft destash from 22.5.22: 46/200. NSD here today but with the added bonus of a refund for overpayment on my car service plan of £109.26 as well as selling some old clothes on a local selling site for £20 so extra money and de clutter at the same time. I'm hoping to be grocery neutral ha ha. Wouldn't that be great?Grocery challenge June 2016
