£37.54 spent in Mr T today mainly on 2 hair dyes, shampoo, conditioner, tissues, kitchen roll, vitamins and tweezers with some beer, chicken and potatoes thrown in for good measure.
Used my club card vouchers and a couple of extra point coupons.
That should keep us fed until we move next Friday.

I needed to go to the corner store tonight and buy bread for tea.2 loaves for £2 .Of course,I have bought bread from the corner store without thinking for years, but now that I am trying to stick to a budget,£2 hurts a bit (especially since today would have been a NSD otherwise).SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Company coming so a big grocery bill. I've already spent over half my budget and it's just the 3rd of June. I'm hopeless at this!!Overprepare, then go with the flow.

First spend for June today - local farm shop £15.94 mainly on veggies and the co op £11.03. Sadly I cannot find dried pulses and beans, except lentils, anymore after the rebranding. I think they have made shelf space for posh superfoods like goji berry cereal etc.must say NO to impulse buys!GC March Challenge £182/200

GC May Challenge £170/£175

Late this month.
Between an emergency dental trip, washing machine needing replacing, and a long weekend booked for me and mum at the end of the month, I really need a no spend month.
I've loads in, so I'm going to give myself £30 for the month - I'll need £5 for tea club, and £10 for a monthly team lunch, so I'm going to try as hard as I can not to spend anything else.
This is going to last 2 days...:rotfl:That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

So a few spends this - mainly work food and bit for home. still trying not to stock up a lot a home, as not home for full weeks.
Sains - work food £12.45 and Mr M £11.01 for the home top-op. sigs updated.
I just need to learn to make the most of the food in tins and freezer that we have...
doesn't help when DH doesn't know what he wants when he doesn't want to eat what I have planned for...oh well..
Hope that all are ok and have a good rest of the day all...
