Just got a Tesco delivery in and done my meal plan for the week - that and a few top up shops last week bring us to £85.16 so far this month. We're away for a few days over the weekend so will be eating from holiday money which should keep our grocery spending down a little. We had to defrost our fridge and freezer last week though as the drawers wouldn't close, so we are run down to the bare minimum!Savings target: £25000/£25000

Havn't spent since 1st, so chuffed with that
I,m going to try and have a cheap basics shop this week, as I spent more than I'd hoped last week.Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Hi,
Can I join? Budget for month is £300.
We did a big shop at Aldi on May 31st which hopefully will cover the basics for most of the month - with need to top up on fresh stuff as we go.
My main frustration with groceries is where we live - in the middle of nowhere so it's a 2 hour round trip to Aldi, a 1 hour roundtrip to Morrisons. Tiny co-op in the village which costs an arm and a leg - aiming to stay well away this month!
We've both had NSD's since June began so really chuffed with that!!

I have been rubbish this month and haven't stuck to my list at all when I go out. I've got about £40 to last until the 19th which I think is doable but would like to have some left over next monthJuly grocery challenge £161.25/£2900

Whoop yet another NSD again today! Used the tiniest piece of roast beef leftover from yesterday's roast and chucked it in a stir fry with LOADS of veggies, some noodles and hoisin sauce which was yummy and some leftover tea loaf for pudding. Meal plan done for the month having checked the freezer and realised we already have a full month of meals in so just the weekly consumables like fresh fruit, veg & packed lunch stuff really to buy each week. Off to Aldi again on Wednesday so hope to stay under budget.Grocery challenge June 2016

Done my 'big' shop and it came to £27.25 which I'm pleased with as I won't have to shop for about at least a fortnight now as I am fully stocked with fresh fruit and veg and other essentials so I have £32,75 left for the rest of the month in my 'food only ' purse and my freezer is still pretty full along with my cupboards.0
