A small spend of £2.02 in the local Spar on some cordial for my office. I used to buy cans of Diet Coke every day but those 75p's were adding up!

So my total is now: £55.29/£120

Yet another NSD here *feeling smug* Another day stuck to meal plan and usually Tuesday's are my Achilles heel as I'm usually exhausted and resort to a takeaway but not tonight! A simple meal but jacket spuds with cheese and tuna with a mountain of salad. Also made a Bakewell tart from store cupboard ingredients and had that with custard for pudding. Saved around about £20 on our usual takeaway and much better for us (well the salad part at least lol)

Hi all can I join in please? My month usually runs from the 24th to the 24th of the next month. I usually budget £450 for a 5-week month and £400 for a 4-week month for a family of 4 (DH, me and 2 teenagers whom I call the hungry hippos because they're always hungry and constantly eating.). We love yellow sticker grocery shopping as a family and enjoy the surprise meals we get out of it. Two weeks into our normal month and we still have £250 left in the grocery budget, having just done a big food shop last night. We've had 5 NSD's so far out of the 20 we aim to make in the month of June.

Yesterday's evening meal was Moroccan flavoured cous cous (250 g) x 2 from Morris ys for 15 p a pot, with lambs lettuce, spinach and rocket salad for 9p, tuna in oil x 2 (£1.50) and dessert was cinnamon swirls (2 in a pack) for 15p.

I've not posted yet for this month; we've had two supermarket trips and spent £27.00 to date: but we're out of pet food and I want to stock up on tinned and dried goods, washing and laundry liquid and flour so it's not going to look like such a healthy budget by this time next week :(

A fair few spends today! B&M £22.47, Poundworld £9, Aldi £54.72, Sainsburys £13.15 so £99.34 (already added to my signature) so about £30 above where I want to be for this time in the GC but today I also received a refund of £25.99 from Argos, £306.92 from my car finance (overpayment) and £5 from selling some clothes on a local selling site so in the grand scheme of things we're doing well. A quick ploughman's for tea tonight because it's too hot to be standing in the kitchen! Hope you're all having a great day and managing to keep cool x
