I freeze bought hummus whenever I buy any reduced price and have never had any issues with it once it's been defrosted.

    Hi All,

I've done one shop this month. £35. I used some vouchers, which brought it down.

Cause there's so few of us on a day to day basis, I've decided to cook for one week a month and then freeze the leftovers into portions. That way I just need to heat up and cook the carb part of the meal. It's working so far, and I'll just walk to Aldi to do a shop of fresh things that I may need.
  • Spends of £29.24 takes me to £70.48. Had to round up slightly as I can't remember exactly how much I spent at the greengrocer- it was more than £3.50 but less than £4, so recorded as £4.

    Hi all :)

Just did my weekly shop at Lidl, which came to 9.74

However I've also been top-up shopping this week. Went in for one thing and came out with a few more...current total is at £49.61. This gives me just over £40 for the next two and a half weeks of the challenge, which I'm sure I can manage as long as I'm sensible with it.

    Hi all,
I don't think I have done too badly considering about £28 was 6 bottles of wine with the 25% discount from Mr. S. It should last a little while.
