Was thinking of a Android box over a Firestick as I've a external Hard Drive I'll probably plug in, I'm thinking of a Firestick for the bedroom TV later on. Was thinking of 2GB Ram to future proof it a bit and would like it to come with a keyboard ideally. I've narrowed it down…

Do Netflix ever do 'come back' discounts?
Had Netflix a while ago, don't currently subscribe. Want to watch a series they have so will subscribe for a month again. I regularly get "Come back to Netflix" emails but they don't have any special offers. Does anyone know if they ever do offers? Ie is it worth waiting for one? :money:

Sky+ box instead of dedicated PVR?
Hi, My Mother-in-Law's (non-smart, non-HD, non-HMDI) TV has just stopped working so she needs a new 32" one. She currently has an old non+Sky box (without subscription so just has the 'freesat' channels) but she really wants the ability to pause/record TV and access on demand stuff. The only option as I initially saw it…

Getting out of TalkTalk contract
I've been with TalkTalk for some time. I moved home in December and took all my services with me. How do YOU choose your next TV?
Our 6-yo Sony tv went on the fritz yesterday SO - an ideal time to take advantage of new tech AND increase size methinks. Or is it? Because real reviews of many TV's are difficult to find nowadays. I'm a member on a few HiFi & Audio-Visual sites BUT finding reviews (which are not user reviews; I'm looking more for reviews…

Hi Can't seem to find the answer to this question. I'm planning on cancelling sky sports and also the multiroom as part of a New Year financial blitz :) We have a Sky +HD box which is the newer box and in the original location where we have always had sky (so I assume this to be the main box). About 4 years ago we got an…

Is 40 inch to small for 4K TV?
I'm buying a new TV's during the sales. The one I have in mind is the Samsung UE40JU6400. It ticks all my boxes and I don't need satellite. This topped my list because it was a 4K TV . It's been suggested to me, however, that a 40 inch screen is just a tad to small for 4K, I'm wondering what you TV geeks think :) . I…
