Virgin card - no more offers :-(
I've held a Virgin card for years. Massive limit on it. Always with some 0% promotion or other, be it balance transfers or purchases. But for 6 weeks now no new offer. :-( I messaged them and was told they were no longer offering such promotions. Is it just me or have they stopped doing this for everyone?

cash Abroad
Can i use the halifax credit card that does not charge interest on cash withdrawals to obtain cash abroad after transfering into the card a sterling amount from My bank account in the UK. Does that mean there would be no charges whatsoever as long as I didn't go over the amount transferred in?

Withdrawing Cash
Hi guys I'm considering having a go at snoozing but I spend quite a lot of cash. I know it defeats the object if you start withdrawing cash from a credit card as you get charged interest, but do the same rules apply if you get cash back from a supermarket? Do you get charged interest on the cash back or does it go down as…

Why...
...is the first page of this forum full of posts that have nothing to do with stoozing? Does "stoozing" have a double meaning for "talking b******s"? Just wondered.

Balance Transfer Question
Hello, I have an MBNA (Virgin) card with a £20k limit. I currently have a BT of £9k which is due to expire at the end of August. I have the money to repay the balance at the end of August but want to use the remaining credit to do another balance transfer to another card. My question is - can I do a BT for another £10k now…

Free stuff please?
Hi, Next Wednesday, I will turn the tender age of 18! I can enjoy my first (legal) pint, and I can get into debt! I'm almost at the point of finishing school, and will have a little time on my hands before getting a job. I have read two particular articles on "Credit Card Freebies" and "Stoozing". I like the idea of both,…

Ppi
I have a credit card with Mbna. I've been paying ppi for about 10 years. I was in permanent employment at the time and agreed to the ppi. But I tried to cancel it about 6 years ago when I knew I was going to be self employed and they convinced me to keep my ppi. Can I make a claim?

P11d value taxed twice through tax credits and PAYE tax code?
Sorry if this sounds like a silly question but ... I have a low cost loan from work which, naturally impacts on my tax coding. I think last year the benefit was worth about £1500 so I am more than happy to pay 20% tax (£300) on that. However, I am also required to declare the same figure in our tax credit claim, so in my…

First time refusal of credit card application

Did our first stooze with Capital One cc and paid off balance in full when promotional rate ended. Is this a scam?
I was phoned today by 08451547956 I missed their name. They were offing a service to get money back from my Mastercard supplier because I had not been asked to sign and return a form when my credit limit had been altered or the terms and conditions had changed. They said that I could be due £1000 per card - also - if I…

Minimum payments damaging?
Hi All, I have searched the forums and failed to find the answer to this question: does making minimum payments on a credit card damage your credit rating? I'm thinking of stoozing at the moment and whilst I have no bad debt, I have no real credit history and so have been turned down for cards in the past. I'm looking to…

Capital One Secured Credit Card
Hi all. Just registered on here. Debt gone, how do I proceed?
Hello all! The last few weeks have seen the end of a Tesco CC, my final payment on a HSBC loan (and a £500 return), and next week will see the clearance of a M&S CC. This all means that I am £250 a month better off from here on. I would like to stooze, one card for a slow stooze, and hopefully another for a quick cash…
