Student Lodgers insurance

Hi there, Hi,
I've just bought a place which will have two of my friends living in there with me for the next few years.
Is it possible for me to get contents insurance for student lodgers as most insurance companies i have spoke to have been so difficult with the fact that they are students and i live there too. any recommendations? thanks

I had a similar problem, none of the big insurers offered such a product.
I ended up ringing Midlands Insurance Services and they offered me a pretty good premium for home insurance and contents cover for my belongings but not my lodgers.0
