first cashback card how to mac small limit?

I've just received my aqua casback card with a small 250 limit on it.
i know you all talking big bucks here :P but one got to start somewhere
and here is my question how and when is the casback awarded? does every I've done some shopping and used a bit of that limit and question is can I max it up to 250 like one day before the end of the mont or something like this?
