Trying to contact Sports Direct
Hey there, I am starting this discussion as I have reached a dead end and not quite sure what to do. I ordered 4 items from Sports Direct, one of them being a barbell complete with weights. They delivered the other 3 items fine but the only thing I received of the barbell was the metal pole. No weights. I tried ringing…

Gym bag stolen
Hello - looking for advice after having had my gym bag stolen at David Lloyds ... I realise they are unlikely to be liable, but I would have thought that they'd at least help in resolving the problem as I know they do have CCTV footage of the area near where my bag was left. Anyone ever had this problem?

sports direct gym think I owe them £50 (wrongly) and they are taking me to court- please help!
I am a ex-member of the Guildford sports direct gym. I have tried to contact the manager numerous times only to be ignored. I don't know what to do. He has made it impossible to ask any questions or dispute my fee which is infuriating. Basically i had a 6 month contract with a 3month cancellation period (which i didnt…

Installing a punchbag from a joist??
Hi, I've cancelled my gym membership to save money and I've started the 28 day no beer challenge by Andy Ramage and its saved me a lot of money so far. To save more money and get in shape faster, I've installed a pull up bar at home and I'm thinking of getting a punchbag. I've seen someone giving away a punchbag for free…

How to be more active working a 9-5 desk job
Hi has anyone ideas how I can be more active? My Mon-Fri 9-5 job is extremely sedentary. I'm office/desk based. There's no stairs in our office and it's relatively small so it's not like I can walk around loads. I have a membership at the local sports centre and aim to go to classes or swimming 3/4 times a week and I walk…

Cramp in my calves
I exercise regularly (45 minute HIIT every other day), and get woken every morning (about 5am) with cramp in my calf muscles. If I'm lucky it's only one, but more often it's both. About three weeks ago I started a new job, which involves wearing steel toe cap boots - not the comfiest of footwear, although I'm luckily not…

PureGym/ 24/7 gyms members, Where do you keep your personal belongings?
Hi guys. Joined puregym, I'm just a bit concerned about my personal items. I do have a padlock and there are lockers available, but when I go to the gym, due to my work hours, the gym isn't manned by staff, which means if for example my padlock was to break or the keys got lost, I'd be stuck, as I'm sure no one would have…

Membership increase from January 2020
Hi, I have received a letter about my sons gym membership, advising that it will increase from January 2020. The membership was a waste of money as he doesn’t use it and I’ve been kicking myself that I signed up to a 12 month contract (which doesn’t expire until August). I seem to remember that if a bill goes up you have…

No Map/GPS in iOS Activity App (only in Strava App)
Hello! I tracked my activity with Strava app on my Apple Watch. After syncing with my iPhone I can see GPS/Maps in Strava App of my activity, that works great. I also allowed Strava app to write my activities to iOS Acitity App. I can see the actitity but at the bottom of the actitity there must be the GPS/Map, but I can't…

Me and a couple of mates have made a new years resolution to get fit this year and we have started doing the Andy Ramage 28 day alcohol free challenge, which is already saving me a lot of money! Boxing gloves advice
Hello all! Looking to get an uprated pair or boxing gloves, currently using ones I brought from Amazon but the foam padding seams to be deteriorating and doesn't give me the wrist support I need for hard shots to the heavy or wall bag. Currently looking at Hyabusa T3 or Cleto Reyes gloves heard they both last a long time…

Personal trainer/gym advice needed
Hi everyone, I need some help! I'm a 32 year old male and have always been very underweight, despite eating a decent amount (and drinking plenty of beers!). Treadmill recommendations?
Hi All, Looking to invest in a treadmill as the council have decided turning off the street lights is a wonder idea and running in the winter is no longer a viable option for me during the week. I'm thinking either renting one or buying one - does anyone have any brand recommendations?
