Cheap trainer websites
Hello I'm looking for some new reasonably priced trainers, comfortable ones for my mum. I'm aware of a few places to try: sportsdirect, mandmdirect, dwsports, sportsshoes.com, decathlon, ebay, amazon.... Are there any other websites that you can suggest?

Swimstars Holding Fee
Further to the recent announcement swimming for my daughter is still not going to take place. We are paying and have been paying the holding fee but to then find out the holding fee doesn’t then credit the account for lessons. Are they able to do this or am I able to claim these funds back? I believe that the company will…

Exercise bike or cross trainer?
I'm thinking of buying an exercise bike, but recently read that they're not necessarily the best for a bit of general exercise. I'd thought of a cross trainer, but space is a bit of an issue. I've had a look around on the internet but there's so much out there. Can anyone offer suggestions, please?

Wireless Headphones

Fitness during Pandemic
I've inadvertently discovered "Rucking" whilst doing my outdoor exercise. No its nothing to do with rugby but is military inspired by walking with weight in your backpack. Here's a couple of links if you're interested? https://fitatmidlife.com/what-is-rucking/ https://www.goruck.com/get-started-rucking So I've slapped on a…

Running with someone
I’m a solo runner, I love the time to myself and to be mindful and thoughtful. I love running hills, my own pace and without concern to talk to others. However I have a friend who hates running alone and begged me to come along with me... well I reluctantly agreed, but our pace was SO different and she was soooo slow.. I…

Virgin and sky refunds
Has anyone been successful in receiving a rebate from Sky or Virgin? Did anyone receive the email they claim to have sent? Did anyone get an email asking customers not to phone them because their lines were busy or they didn’t have staff to answer your calls? No wonder the onus was on the customer to contact them because…

Hi, I hope I can ask this question here, apologies if it's not suitable. I pay a local sports club a monthly fee through a direct debit conpany. I hadn't trained for months and then lockdown meant I wasn't going to, so I cancelled my DD through my bank without a second thought. Now the collection company is emailing asking…

Anyone else skating?
As the ice rinks are closed I dug out my inline skates. I hated it at first, but four weeks later, practising one hour each day, and I now think it’s wonderful. I can do a lot of my on ice drills, although stopping is always going to be less effective unless you collide with a brick wall of course. I ordered a new pair of…

Anybody repaired walking boots?
Not sure if this is the correct forum but it seemed the best fit. I went for a walk yesterday and my 15 year old walking boots are coming apart at the sole. As the boots are still waterproof I'm sure I can stick the sole back together but I don't know what adhesive to use. Has anybody repaired walking/work boots…
