GYM

Options
I like going to the GYM 3-4 times a week doing Cardio exercise and swimming.
I am looking at buying some trainers for the GYM Would Nike Vapormax 2019 be good enough or do i need something else?

Gyms are mostly closed right now? But Vapormax are very bouncy - I had a pair and didn't like them for being in the gym - I think they are better suited out on the road. Have a look at Under Armour Hovr - most of that range (not all) connects via bluetooth to 'mapmyrun' -useful for treadmill running.

I know gym's are closed.. I mean for when they open, I just want something from nike that is good for the GYM and Vapormax 2019 is on sale at moment or are there any other nike shoes good enough for the GYM or will it have to be other brand's
  • If they are mostly for running that is a difficult question to answer, my favourite runners might be awful for you, and vice versa.  If that's the case the best bet is to wait until everything opens up and try some on.
However, if you are talking about general other gym work - 10 mins on the treadmill as a warm up kind of thing, then it doesn't matter so much. I have some Reebok ones and like them for that purpose, but it's a personal preference.

Don't buy shoes for the gym 'because they are on sale' - buy shoes for the gym that suit you, and what you do - and try and find some that are on promotion that match that category. If you spend 30 minutes on a treadmill you'll potentially want different shoes if you were to spend 30 minutes weight training. As I said the Vapormax are a very bouncy shoe - they aren't to everyones tastes. Under Armour/Nike/Adidas/Reebok amongst others all have great ranges of shoes - only you know the style and colour combinations you like - but as I said - try looking at the UA Hovr range that connect to mapmyrun if you spend long lengths of time on a treadmill.
