Egg owes us for overpaid tax on our claim
Some years ago we had a company secure a successful PPI claim. We paid a commission to them (wish we'd read M.Lewis advice not to use expensive reclaim agents) and we thought that was the end of the matter. This week my husband has had an email from the company saying that Egg overpaid tax by £200 and this would be due to…

Fasttrack reclaim
Back in August 2019 I signed up with Fast Track Reclaim for their free PPI Claim search. On their web site they had a list of financial establishments that you could tick to request a free PPI check against, amongst the list were Lloyds & Black horse, both at that time part of Lloyds bank group. I selected these along with…

Lloyds credit card PPI
I received a PPI refund payout in Dec 2019,. It didn't give a breakdown of how the refund had been calculated so I telephoned to request one. Fees issue
I made a PPI claim for my husband and within that, my details were asked for. I didn't realise it was a joint claim or expect a claim as I had one for £1300 several years ago. I thought it was to look at joint accounts etc. He got a successful claim but when I went to pick up the cheque from our old address July 2020,…

I have received this email from Hidenda - Halifax has underpaid your PPI refund for account 4049702000569281/0310. Low PPI offer?
Hi all, just signed up to ask for some help. My father passed away in mid August 2019 and I had to arrange his estate. I noticed that he had ppi on a £40k mortgage, from 1997 with Cheshire building society. This was remortgaged a few years later. This has been ongoing due to the pandemic but I finally have a decision. They…

Hi, I tried to reclaim PPI back in 2008 for an Egg credit card I had and the claim was refused. I did no more about it and have moved home since.
