PPI offer made, but no response back

I was sent an offer by HSBC last year. I was asked to return bank details.
I did this but didn’t hear anything back. Covid hit abs I moved house and forgot all about it. I’ve since moved again and found the original offer letter.
it’s over a year since the offer but surely I can contact them and they should still make the payment?

in most cases yes. Although technically, they could refuse as it's longer than 6 months. That would be rare though.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
