My PPI cheque was reissued by Canada Square Operations as they realised I had changed address and didn't cash the first one.
Thanks
I have it now - I'm just wondering whether they own me the interest from 2012 to 2021?
Does anyone know if this might be the case.
Thanks

What made them suddenly issue a new cheque after nine years?
Why did you wait nine years for a settlement of your complaint?Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -
Just in case you havent realised, you have posted in the pensions forum rather than the PPI forum. A board guide may well move the thread once they see it.I have it now - I'm just wondering whether they own me the interest from 2012 to 2021?Strictly speaking, no they don't as the calculation is done up to the point the payment is allocated. However, if the address change was notified to them and they didn't act on it then there is the possibility that they would.
Does anyone know if this might be the case.
It is rather strange for you to wait almost a decade to resolve this.

My guess is that it was up to you to notify them of the address change, so they've acted in good faith from the information you gave them. You could try asking them if they'll pay the nominal interest for the interim, but it'd be a goodwill gesture IMHO.0

Confirmed that the OP did not notify them of the address change.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
