Trains So Expensive...
Hello; I am going to have to travel from Slough to Brighton for 3 days consecutively from the 25-27th of July to attend a pre-course course kind of thing for my PGCE in Biology starting in September. Now, given where I've only JUST graduated from University, I don't have nearly £100 to spend on a 3 day trip to Brighton…

bulging inner tube
Whilst out cycling, the back wheel tyre seemed to start bumping along as if it was a slow puncture. The tyre stayed up however. No puncture was found after checking the inner tube. Just a biggish bulge near the valve area. Bought a new inner tube and no problems since. Was this correct to do and also, to keep or throw away…

Please explain contactless card use on London Underground
My OH and I went up to London today for my annual checkup at hospital. We parked in Westfield, and caught the tube to central London after taking advice from one of the London rail staff. He kindly explained that we would be better off using our contactless debit cards, which would work out each at £6.60 for the day…

I'm in a major dilemma. I'm doing a cycle trip this August with a friend (not long to go now). Starting off in Dubrovnik (Croatia) and then going to Montenegro and Bosnia. I'll be living in my tent and therefore the bike will carry this, along with panniers, sleeping bag, clothes, and everything else I need to live. It'll…

One of those 'what are my rights' questions... My original card only cost me £23 but I had to pay…

Hi, I have a season ticket on the Thameslink line costing over £4k a year. I'm not really sure if this is the correct forum to post this in - apologies in advance! There is a small car body shop opposite my flat. They make a lot of noise during the day/evening.
