Hi, we move threads if we think they’ll get more help elsewhere (please read the forum rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.
I’ve moved your thread from the ‘I wanna’ board to the ‘Public Transport & Cycling’ board, where it is better suited.

38 minutes at Google walking speed or two stops on the Victoria Line.0 -
Tickets for £8.50 each way are available on the Southern Railway web site by selecting specific trains.
If you don't fancy the walk from Victoria to Oxford Circus, bus fare is £1.50 using contactless card or Oyster, or £2.40 on the tube with contactless or Oyster. Bus takes 24 minutes from Victoria to Oxford Circus, Tube takes 4 minutes!
From Oxford Circus station to the theatre is a 6-10 minute walk.0 -

The bus will take as long as the traffic allows plus you'll have to wait anything up to 12 mins for one to arrive (unless there are multiple services when it will be less).
The tube will definitely take 4 mins and it's usual to wait only 1 or 2 mins for the victoria line. The tube is busy for obvious reasons (it's quiick) and can be hot but not a big issue for 4 mins (victoria line is not air conditioned).
The bus is pleasanter and you'll see more if you have the time for a much longer and much less reliable journey time.
I am a fan of the buses at weekends but only when I have time.0 -
Victoria to Oxford Circus is a very pleasant half an hour's walk via Brenda's gaff, Green Park and Bond St.
+1 for Lisyloo's comparison between the buses and tubes if you don't fancy that or don't have time.0
