British Gas Homecare
I was disappointed and very impressed the way my complaint was handled. I could not get a BG engineer out to fix our kitchen lights so employed the services of a private contractor. The cost came to £70. I put a claim into BG and agreed to refund the cost. The disappointment came when I found out the complaint was just…

O2 price increases
Currently, O2 can only increase their charges each year by RPI. If you entered an agreement after 25 March, the increase will be RPI plus a massive 3.9%. I have been an O2 customer for 27 years. When my current contract phone expires, I expect to be looking for a new provider.

Shoppers wearing disposable gloves- rant
Do these people know that gloves aren’t suitable for shopping? Due to cross contamination. See customers touching thousands of products wearing the same gloves, touch face, put glasses on/off and then pay with cash. If you are germophobic, then you don’t pay with cash! Then probably wear the same gloves at different shops…

Hello, I recently received a letter to my address from company Lowell claiming I owe money to JD Williams. I quickly searched online and found lots of other people have same problem. Scam Warning, related to online gaming
I was just playing an online game: Crossword Jam. It sent me a message offering me, as a loyal customer, a chance to win an IPhone. To cut it short, I did win one, but they wanted me to pay £1 for postage. I was suspicious, but less so than usual, because it came from within a game that I've been playing for ages, and got…

Check your gas bill - Energy company wrongly charging for metric gas meter!!
Please check your gas bills if you are a customer of Avro energy - switched last year and they have been incorrectly applying a conversion to my usage as though I had an old-style imperial meter. My meter records usage in Metres squared and AVRO have multiplied this as though it was an old style meter even though they…

Bristol Energy
I have been in dispute with Bristol Energy since Jan 2020, I had smart meters fitted I noticed the incorrect style of meter had been installed. My old meter had a top mounted display as I have a ground installation, the meter fitted had a side mounted display that you would normally associated with a wall mounted meter. I…

HELP Virgin Media not honouring the offer via the Money Saving Expert link
I signed up to Virgin Media using a link from the MSE website back in May, £23.95pm instead of £51, £75 bill credit and free installation. It all went through OK at £23.95, I took a screenshot, but when I recieved the contract it said £51pm, I got straight on to them and I'm now caught in the loop of hell trying to get it…

Dacia Anti-corrosion Warranty
I bought a Dacia specifically for the 6 year Anti-corrosion Warranty. A small piece of rust appeared on the bottom of the drivers door. When I took the car to the Dacia dealership I was told the warranty was invalid because I hadn't had the anti-corrosion check done by a Dacia dealer for more than two years! I had the…

Absolutely First Class Service from Amazon
On Tuesday 25 May I ordered a pair of support insoles via an Amazon Market Seller with the order being fulfilled by Amazon. The insoles were delivered next day. On going for a walk with the new insoles in my hiking shoes I found they were extremely painful to wear and the design shoved my foot forward in the shoe. I put my…

Ocado Carrier Bag Refund Error
Please look out and check that you are being refunded the correct amount for your carrier bags from Ocado. For the second consecutive week Ocado have refunded my returned carrier bags at the old rate of 5p/bag although I was charged 10p/bag. I've tried complaining but have just been referred to their normal refund channels.
