Wilko now charge for click and collect/order and collect!

My grumble for today......I don't know when it started, but as in the title, Wilko now charge £2 for c&c (or as they call it, order and collect).  Grrrrr.  Nice one Wilko :/

A couple of quid for someone to go around and put your order together and do the paperwork - sounds like a bargain, if like me, you value your own time.

    Why should it be free?

I have to admit, I can't see the logic in people expecting to get the same service from shop A because that's how Shop B does it.

If Argos and Homebase jumped off a cliff should Wilko do so as well?
And this is how the world works. Just wait until the first bank ends free banking, the rest will fall quickly into line.

Then buy the item from them instead then.

Also Argos entire business model has always been built on order and collect. Things have changed with online ordering and many smaller stores hold less stock as they move it around once they get the order, but comparing a store built on catalogues and ordering to other stores is a stretch.
