Is there a Talk Talk fault?
I have TT as a CPS provider but have just had a 'charge advice' call back from BT giving me the length and price of my last call. (No I DIDN'T '1280' the call before anyone asks! ) I spoke to BT on 150 but they couldn't help me and I can't even find a contact number for TT to ask what's going on!

I've followed the MSE advice, so currently I rent the line from BT for £11 per month. All calls are via Primus Freetalk Plus Option 2 for £2.50 per month with the £5 cashback offer. I need to buy an actual phone and will probably just buy a £6 corded phone from Argos. I've got broadbeenband, so I've just been looking at…

People claiming to be from the Halifax keep calling me!
I'm receiving a call a day now from people claiming to be from the Halifax. However they won't tell me what the call is about unless I give them personal details - something I don't like doing unless I know who I'm talking to. I asked them to write to me instead, but they claim to have already done so. However I've not…

BT Bill / Credit Card / Postcode problem
I had a credit card saved for selecting from my online BT account to pay bills with. Being a good moneysaver I deleted that one and tried to use a Tesco Cr Card. BT website refused to recognise my postcode with this one and also with my old one when I tried to re-enter it. I notice BT now say that Visa/Mastercards are only…

Charges levied after contract expires
Hello. Could someone here advise please as to what the law says with regard to companies collecting charges/payments after the contract with them has expired? Is there a set legal time limit, or is it dependent on the companies' terms and conditions of service? Basically, if a contract with a company expires, can they then…

0870 Revenge!
Having read Martin’s previous articles on the 0870 rip offs, I did some searching and decided to have our own 0870 number for home. There are numerous sites out there offering free 0870 numbers, so we just picked the one we liked and registered it. All the provider wanted was a name and address, the land line number it was…

Primus & 1571?
I have searched the forums and the Primus website and google and have discovered that I can still use BT 1571 when I have Primus as my CPS. My question is, will calling 1571 still be free and will I still hear the 'broken' dial tone when I have a message? Thanks in advance. Rachel

Hi, Sorry if this is slightly off topic but I get a couple of calls each day from the above number, each time I answer the line is silent for around 5 seconds and then the caller hangs up - upon phoning the number back I simply get a (badly) recorded message stating 'This number does not accept incoming calls' (repeated…
