Using Tiscali for calls but still getting billed on BT
I just can't believe my luck. I'm on the cheapest phone / broadband package possible yet someone in the house is still managing to cost me extra money. Latest BT bill shows a local phone has been made on BT line - which means they would have had to deliberately dial 1280 before the number - or is this a Tiscali mistake?…

Curiously, our internet connection through the BT line still works. Call out charges for BT engineer to come out is around £70 plus £70 per hour to fix - and they can't come…

Beware Worldsaver
This company advertises free or cheap international calls from your homephone or mobile. However, when I called 02 I found that I was NOT being charged nothing or 2p/min, as advertised on their site, but 25 p or 40p / min. I've contacted Ofcom about this, but I'm not sure if they're its remit. Who can I contact about this…

Cheapest override provider for 0870 and 0845
I currently use 1899 as an overide provider for national calls, but they charge 7p per minute for 0870 calls. As I seem to spend most of my life (moneysaving has its downside) on hold to call centres, these calls make up the bulk of my bill.
