Hi
I would like to switch from HomeCall to Primus. If I go through U-Switch, will they cancel homecall and sign up for primus?
Or will i have to write to HomeCall and wait 30 days to be disconnected from them and then sign up for primus?
Hope you can help

IIRC, Homecall is a WLR provder (i.e. you have agreed to them providing your line and you no longer pay line rental to BT).
If so, you cannot change to a CPS provider like Primus without first switching your line rental back to BT. Uswitch don't offer that.
You could change back yourself and, when that's done, then go via Uswitch to change to Primus.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

You should then get a 'sorry you're leaving' letter from Homecall and a 'welcome to Primus' letter from Primus and Primus will tell you when the change will take place.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. awesome - thanks very much! I was just worried that homecall wouldnt cancel unless they had a written letter from myself. I have been with them for over 12 months so there should be no probs cancelling
There is no minimum term with Primus do you know?
Thanks alot for your help0 -
