I'm not sure if the Daily Express misquoted Martin's advice on batch cooking. Surely the main way of making the saving is by cooking say 5 meals in an oven at the same time, saving roughly 80% of the energy if each meal was cooked at separate times? Thought it would be good to share some money saving tips and would love you to join in. My first tip is something I have done this morning, I have stopped buying mint tea and just have a cheap pot of supermarket mint in the kitchen window, just snip, use and it keeps growing and growing.
