This time the MRI went well, not too uncomfortable. I was out in under half an hour, prompt start and friendly radiographers. Driving across from the south side of Glasgow at 5.30p.m. was interesting. I hadn't been out in dark, or surrounded by so many other cars or the huge amount of people for ages. The many cyclists wearing dark clothing was scary, and they dart about. Anyway, made it to Alan in one piece. 😁
We'll probably have breakfast out at the wee Italian-esque cafe. Yet to be decided. I haven't read back yesterday so hope that everyone is doing fine.6 -
Morning folks thanks GERS. Pleased yesterday's scan went well. Enjoy breakfast!
DGD still in the land of nod but the breakfast she requested is ready to go. Sausage sandwich followed by a couple of Scotch pancakes! My dippy egg and soldiers breakfast has already been enjoyed. She is really off and away with her crocheting now. We had a shaky start originally but she soon grasped it. Her other Gran took her to a Crochet Group last week, she was by far the youngest there and, according to the tutor, the best and had to give a demonstration to the newbies! She was mortified!
DS and his DP back from their little stay in the Lakes so it's SS this morning. He is aiming for the browsing time and then we are ready for the check outs opening at 10.00. We should then be back in time for the service at the Cenotaph. I don't like to miss that.
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all xx

Morning all, thanks for the start @Gers. Enjoy your breakfast with Alan x
I didn’t get on yesterday as had to take DH to A&E. Promised GP e-consult call back occurred just as he was being called in - two unrelated issues. He has meds for one and a referral being arranged for the other. He is a terrible patient and my nurse skills are being tested!I’m off to a Christmas market this morning with DSis. ILs are coming over so no doubt my ears will be burning. DS2 is here to fetch and carry for everyone.Hope DGD is doing okay @dp1 x.Belated Happy Birthday to Esben @snoozer x.Cross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 20/25 Currently reading Finding Hildasaay by Christian Lewis6 -
Morning everyone
Thanks for all the good wishes for little one...good old Calpol is helping and DD is hoping she's ok to go to school tomorrow. Apparently the discomfort can last for weeks. We had a quiet morning doing crafts yesterday and made prince and princess puppets out of wooden spoons and then a theatre out of a big cat food box...
Yesterday I went to see the film I Swear...about Tourettes, it was absolutely brilliant and I'd recommend it.
Today, mam and dads to do his email to eldest DD and then I need to pop down to Lidl to get a couple of their Christmas Cactus to go in the pots little one and I painted at the pottery
Then a quiet afternoon with my Sunday Times and some tidying in the garden if it doesn't rain.
Hope everyone has a good day x5 -

Morning all
Dry here and meant to stay dry all day, I hope so as the grass is desperate for a cut. And I still need to sort the garden for winter.
DD and I had a good day yesterday we got quite a bit of shopping done in good old primark and a few bits in TK maxx, we then left there and tried to get into the outlet centre, after being stuck in a queue for an hour we managed a right turn and got out of there, I think we would have been stuck for at least another hour, we may try again in a few weeks and possibly take the train.
I need to pull everything out and see exactly what I’ve got and sort it between Christmas and Birthdays but I think I am nearly there.
Dinner tonight will be cottage pie with veg,I will get it prepared this morning and then it’s ready to pop in the oven later.
Camelot I hope you are continuing to improve xx
Have good days all and take care xx3 -

She used to make all my cardis and jumpers for my 2 DB's. Well done to your DGD, my skills are limited to granny squares really but quite enjoy that.Been out with DH this morning dog walking, met a few dogs Lenny could say hello to. Still lots of fireworks here last night.I've got a beef joint in the slow cooker for later, will try to time the meal so we don't miss too much of the football
