Cavity Wall Help Please
Hi folks, I had cavity wall installed about 4 years ago. It is a mess. I have been doing some research and tried to find who did it. Any ideas how I find who the installer was? Tried the CIGA lot, they said there was no guarantee. I think I was on the Green Deal Scheme. Any help would be great.

Reasonable cost for a tradesperson to replace an electric Storage heater?
Hi, Can anyone tell me what a reasonable cost would be for a tradesperson to replace an old broken storage heater (Dimplex XL18 in size - 12 bricks) with a new one of the same size? Source new one, replace existing one and take old one away. Also does anyone know of the difference between say a Dimplex XL18 and a Creda…

Does anyone else have problems when taking delivery of full pallets of wood pellets? I constantly have drivers complain about the maneuverability of the pallet given the weight. The load, while usually shrink wrapped well, still shifts around as he tries to get it on the tail lift that it only just fits on and can lean…

Powermax 1400 boiler - burner not always kicking in
Apologies for the long post but I'm hoping to get a bit of advice from someone who knows more than I do. Last week a plumber came in to replace a bathroom rad with a heated towel rack and remove a rad from downstairs in the hallway. The work seemed fine and our CH and hot water both came on as programmed that night.…

Standing Charge overcharge by First Utility
I have an outstanding complaint with First Utility about being charged an additional day standing charge for Nov-Dec. It is the princely sum of 19p plus VAT. My question is do any of you check your bills to make sure they are 100% correct? If every First Utility Customer was over charged for this period to the same value I…

Boilerjuice monthly payment plan
Does anyone use this particular monthly plan? I have such trouble affording oil in the winter and thought a monthly plan would be worth doing, as my local suppliers want large amounts each month, all year, whereas boiler juice will accept a minimum of £40 a month. Just wondered if anyone used it or had any problems with it.

My gas usage is higher than last year and has been since December. It is a slightly colder winter but the difference in my bill is about £12 a month, despite being on a fixed tariff. How to proceed
About 7 weeks ago I started to switch energy suppliers. 5 weeks ago my supplier who I was leaving rang to offer me a better deal. Buy Back Solar Panels
Any experience of signing up to Lightsource company they buy your solar panels and you keep the feed in tariff and get ownership back at end of your 25 year period.
