BES Business Energy
I have just taken on a new small business and today was contacted by the current energy supplier (BES) that until I have a contract in place, they will charge £1.50 per day, unless I sign up with them which I have no intention of doing. Is this a normal and reasonable fee, is there anything I can do?

I signed up to Collective Fix 2017 a year ago. My monthly payments crept from £34.50 per month to £81.76 over the course of the year. Apparently "Fix" means the kwh price.
