Which Electric Heater

Hi,

I am looking to replace the electric panel heaters in a 1 bed flat. Does anyone recommend any electric heaters.

Is something like this any good or will it just kill the bills?

All electric heaters run at the exactly same efficiency level (whatever some misleading advertisers would like to suggest). The only differences are going to be the basic differences between radiant or convected heat and of build quality. A timer may be useful but running costs when they are operating will be identical kw for kw.

Either heater will produce EXACTLY the same amount of heat for the same amount of electricity consumed - and hence cost the same to run.

That applies to all electrical heaters - even those hyped up heaters costing well over £1,000.

The panel heater output has a maximum output of 1kW, whilst the oil filled rad is up to 2kW.
