I'm about to accept a quote for a new boiler - Ideal Logic+30 kW and would appreciate advice on the process of installation - copy below:
Schedule of works Fitment of combination boiler

2, To remove the old components and make good any holes no longer required (re-brick where necessary.
3, To supply and install 1no.Ideal Logic+30kw ERP model condensing high efficiency combination boiler to the existing location.
4, To connect a new copper gas supply to the new boiler.
5, To connect flow and return pipework to the new boiler.
6, To connect hot and cold pipework to the new boiler.
7, To supply and install 1no. 15mm copper safety discharge pipe work from the boiler to the external wall.
8, To supply and install 1no. Scale reducer.
9, To supply and install 1no.Horizontal flue kit.
10, To supply and install 1no. 7day programmable room thermostat.
11, To run a new condense pipe off line from the position of the boiler to a waste.
12, To undertake a complete system flush to remove all sludge and installation debris (Power flush if deemed necessary).
13, To drain out the cleanser and introduce an approved corrosion inhibitor upon completion.
14, To commission the installation and complete the boiler benchmark booklet.
15, To supply notification to the Gas Safe Register and building control of the new boiler installation. !
16, To register the installation with Ideal to validate the warranty.
The boiler comes complete with a 7 year manufactures backed warranty.
All our work comes complete with a 7 year workmanship warranty.
Is there anything I should ask to be included. I did ask about a filter which I was told can be fitted later. Is a filter an internal fitting?

Sounds good to me, not my boiler of choice but Logics seem to be a lot better than Ideal's awful predecessors. The filter is external, it is best fitted on the heating return pipe as close to the boiler as possible.0

I've had a great deal of trouble finding this page so apologies for late thanks. I've decided against using the above fitters as I couldn't find any verification of their company registration and/or GasSafe number. However your advice re fitting the filter is useful.
I am awaiting a visit from a new fitter, recommended by a friend - always the better option than sticking a pin in details submitted by online boiler companies.0
