I'm currently planning a road trip round Iceland for early next year and looking at options for car hire. I don't own a credit card, so need to be able to pay via debit card. I've found a company which has good reviews which has said that they will be happy to accept payment via debit card, however they have said that I'd…

Summer 2023 Car Hire
We have been booking our summer 2023 holiday in Portugal, but rather shocked at the prices when it comes to car hire. The daily rate seems to be approx 50% higher than we paid for 2022. I have firms we have used before, as well as the more general price comparison sites but it seems to be the same everywhere. Usually I…

Easyjet voucher codes not working
I've had about 3 separate emails over the last year telling me I have 5 vouchers totalling about £100 which I've not used. I've tried on many separate occasions to use just one (the most value) and computer say no. The only two their system accepts online are for £10 each. If I wanted to use them all against one flight I…

Euro ATMs in London
I'm looking to buy Euro notes. Usually I'd use one of the very convenient Raphaels Bank GBP & EUR note dispensing ATMs located in Tube stations, but I've since discovered they've been replaced with NoteMachine £ only ones - much to my disappointment. It seems Raphaels Bank went out of business. Sadly this misleading…

Car Hire Excess claim query
Hi guys I bought an annual car hire excess policy from carhireexcess.co.uk. Unfortunately I've had to make a claim following a recent trip to Lanzarote where someone reversed into our hire car whilst it was parked in a car park. Anyway, I carefully checked the 'if you need to make a claim' section of my documents before…

Not sure this is the correct sub-forum, but here goes... I lost my bank debit card while travelling in Spain. My bank sent me a new card to my address in Spain. It was sent as a tracked letter.
