Singapore Airlines Wi Fi

As all flights now offer free unlimited Wi Fi to Kris Flyer members can I ask has anybody actually used Singapore Airlines Wi Fi ? ... If so is it worth the trouble ? Will it be hit and miss and will I get inundated with unwanted adverts etc.... I will be in economy and would likely use it for modest surfing to pass the time.

In-flight wifi at a free level is for things like messenger/whatsapp/basic emails without attachments. It's designed to keep you in touch with family and friends (or where necessary - work) If you're thinking of browsing through facebook and watching a bit of youtube - you'll be hard pressed.
