American Express Platinum Cashback Credit Card
I have this credit card and have reached £100 cashback (I’ve had this for 2 months now). I have until the end of March with the 5% cashback offer before it drops to 0.5%, it says that there is a maximum of £100 that I can earn. Is that per month or per year? It isn’t clear on the website.

M&S moving to HSBC
Did anyone else get the email yesterday about the proposed move of M&S credit cards moving to HSBC? I was rejected for a card by HSBC despite banking with them I'm a bit worried they will close my account after any merger as they previously rejected me, which will be next summer the high court says yes.

My husband died in June 2025. I have noticed that he paid a deposit of £1665 for a holiday for May 2026 using his Barclaycard. He had not sorted out travel insurance, but I wondered if I could claim the deposit back from Barclaycard as I am no longer able to take this holiday. Thank you
