Hi. I am buying a new kitchen from Wren Kitchens. I can't afford the deposit required for the lowest repayment option of their interest free credit so will have to go down the credit applying route of 3.4%. Credit score confusion
Hi, I'm very very new to all things related to credit. Up to now I've only ever used a debit card, and I've been told by my family that I shouldn't get a credit card. However I'm aware that having a good credit score will help me to get a loan for a house in the future (in the UK). The problem is when I try to check if I…

OK, I'm about to make a purchase of £5500. I have the cash available to make the purchase, but I'm trying to be savvy by finding a 0% balance transfer credit card and spreading the cost over several months / years if possible and leaving my cash where I can get a return on it. However, We both have a relatively low income…

Credit card scammers - warning!
Perhaps no sensible person on here would ever fall for this scam, but I did, so I'm going to share what happened in case it helps someone. I could never understand how people could be caught out by dodgy phone calls and give away banking details over the phone, so I've always assumed something is a scam unless there is…

Examples could be car, weekend/going away bag, hiking rucksack, house etc. On the recent occasions…

Section 75 claim goodwill settlement rejected, but paid anyway
Hi, I would be grateful for some advice on a section 75 claim we are in the middle of, after our charge back was rejected and escalated to a section 75 claim. "Ethics" of credit card spending

Barclaycard Reward Foreign usage: Are fees just hidden in their Visa conversion rate?
MSE recommends using a Barclaycard Reward in preference to a Lloyds credit card abroad. But, I'm failing to spot a considerable difference between the cards if you look at their small print and how they calculate their FX and conversions. Is this correct? Or am I comparing apples and oranges? Apologies, very new to all…
